Sun, tune jhooth bole, main sach ko jeeti thi,
Tere jaane ke baad, dil mera chupke se rota hai.
Dard diya tune, phir bhi main toot ke sambhli hoon,
Na gussa tujhe, bas aansuon ko chhupaye rakha hai.
Woh vaade jo toda, ab hawa mein gunjte hain,
Main apni taaqat hoon, jo dard se jaagi hai.
Ja apni raahon mein, main apni kahani likhungi,
Dil ke tukde jod kar, ab khud ko sambhalungi.
Translation
You lied, I lived by truth’s light,

Chhota sa ladka, sapne uske roye,
Har haar ke saath, dil uska khoye.
Rishton ki baatein, chubhti thi kaanch si,
Apnon ke taane, har subah shaam si.
Aankhon mein aansu, par hothon pe muskaan thi,
Doston ki himmat, uski pehchaan thi.
Gira, utha, chalta raha us raah pe,
Jahan manzil nahin, bas kaaton ka bichhaav tha.
Aaj jab woh chamka hai, suraj ki tarah,
Purani yaadein, aati hain leher ki tarah.
Dost hi the sahare, jab sab ne thukraya tha,
Uss akelapan mein, unhone hi gale lagaya tha.
Safalta ki iss unchai pe, woh akela nahin,
Har uss pal mein, doston ka saaya hai.
Translation
A little boy, his dreams wept soft and low,
With every fall, his heart began to slow.
The whispers of kin, like shards of glass would sting,
Their taunts, like shadows, dawn and dusk would bring.
Tears in his eyes, yet a smile he'd wear so thin,
His friend's resolve, his strength from deep within.
He fell, he rose, along that thorny track,
No clear path beckoned, just thorns upon his back.
Today he shines, a sun in skies so vast,
Old memories surface, like waves from a forgotten past.
Only friends stood by, when all else turned away,
